合歓木❗の製材は初めて見ました、さすが豆科の木はとても綺麗ですね🎵
エンジュ(槐)やローズウッド(ハカランダ)も豆科の植物ですね
合歓木の里って宮崎辺りでしたね？
美智子上皇后の子守唄　ねんねん合歓木眠りのき🎵
葉が夕方に閉じて✨眠りに付く☺️花は薄ピンクのたおやかな🎵私の大好きな花です。

ねむの木といえば、宮城まり子さんが設立された障がい者施設を真っ先に思い出します。花が可愛いですよね(o´艸`)
ピンク色のふわふわした扇方の花。
赤ちゃんの手のひらのようです。こんなに大きな木になるんですね(*ﾟOﾟ*)木目も綺麗です。

ねむの木学園(*^^*)
気になって調べてみたら、建設予定地の近くにたくさんのネムノキがあったことが名前の由来だそうです。
ねむの木学園は1962年創設ということで、59年前。
今回製材したネムノキは樹齢80～90年。
もしかして、宮城まり子さんが当時見たはずのネムノキが巡りめぐって今ここに…？
なんて想像すると素敵ですね☆(*^^*)
また、英名は「silk tree」とも言うそうです。見るからに柔らかく優しげなお花ですね☆(*^^*)
